that denim Gi is dope.
I got to tell you this sport is really really gay. Craig Jones wasn't kidding when he said it
There is so much more to wristlock and manipulation than the very superficial cowhwnd and gooseneck. Aikido and Chinese qinna have far more developed wristlocks than we see in bjj - The truly interesting locks start to happen when you incorporate twisting locks like sankyo aka kote hinari (inward wrist turn) and kote gaeshi (outward wrist turn). There is also what is called nikyo which is a bit more complex- using 2 opposing locks or bends to set the lock. These locks not only effect the wrist but the entire arm and have a very wide range of applications The sankyo lock can even enhance what we call the kimura in bjj. And the sankyo or potentially kotegaeshi can even enhance the arm bar since we are effectively twisting and removing all of the slack out of the arm- immobilizing the whole arm and body structure. Also if you apply a twisting sankyo or kotegaeshi then they may enhance what we call the gooseneck and cowhand breaks too. There is a wide range of applications for "wristlocks"
Wow. Missy Baize, you're brilliant. Thanks for the amazing stuff. Greetings from Ireland.
I really needed this in my life ❤ thank you.
Really love the culture that Joshua creates with in Jiujitsu. When you're having fun the learning comes easy. Great stuff as usual.
Thank you for the kind words!
Nice video, we need nogi judo seminar for sure
A move I thought I knew how to do but actually not
What an amazing instructor. Thank you for sharing this video with us.
Poor guy. His head was past red to the point of being purple.
17:36 would it not be better to pull it down and switch the grip around chest level then push it into the neck when you shift the hips. Essentially not showing your hand and making them aware of the "blade" at their throat? Won't use it much as it attacks the trachea (Josh Janis PPP fan) but would still like to know if sneaky isn't better.
Yes - I agree with what you are saying. At the beginning I say that you could go for these in any order. If that is the one you go for first, you definitely would want to play your cards closer to your chest as you set it up. It’s taught as a series with an if this/ then that type of approach. But you could take any one and use it on its own. Play with it and make it work for you.
Worst camera work ever
does she have an instagram account i searched her but couldnt find i want to follow her social media
Is that a demin gi? Where did that come from? Is it breathable?
Yes! It’s from the globetrotter Maine camp. It’s even more worn out now!
@@johnmissybaize6053 it looks great! Tons of character. I think I will sew myself one.
Thanks I'll be trying these in class tomorrow
Catch wrestling stuffs
I dig it!
bruh all I am doing next class during rolling is grabbing my arsehole and laughing, thanks mate for the laughs and expletives
Always amusing to see BJJ guys criticize Systema then watch other BJJ guys turn BJJ into it, or at least move in that direction. I’ve trained in both for decades and love both. arts. It all converges at the top.
Octopus guard is appearing awesome! and many entries right into twister side
Cool to watch but man those poor ukes
Hey Rob, was the Thurs session you mentioned (on the ecological approach) also filmed? Will that uploaded also? You give such a great Cliff notes version of this stuff - makes it easy to wrap your head around. I'd love to see you talking eco / giving some more games to play with.
Thanks! No, it didn't get recorded, but I have another video on here on leglocks done like this if you want to check that out
Getting knee pain in my trapped leg as I prepare to do the roll. Am I doing something wrong? Too much external rotation?
4:12 Is Priit in this class?
Yes 😂
The mechanics shown are mostly incorrect. Such a shame :/
What was wrong with it and which time stamp?
How is it incorrect?
What do people mean by KNEE REAPING? Thank you
Thank you liquid Rob! 💧 💧 love the things to think about. This has been my world lately. May have to find where you coach and travel. Thank you so much
Another awesome video from one of the best coaches I know! I learn so much from Liquid Rob!
Thanks you Dnice! 🙏
❤❤
Great idea but I think your giving to much information to them and talking to much set them a target and let them go
I think the Globetrotters camp attendees expect a seminar style of teaching. Maybe we can talk Liquid Rob into facilitating a session at the next Eco Coaching Camp using a CLA practice design. :)
Yeah, like Dnice said, it's a seminar format in a camp where classes and training sessions run all day, so people are tired I need to give more info and not just run people the hole hour, in a class I wouldn't talk as much and it's probably less than a minute describing the game
My point is that if we are pushing for CLA more and people it comes across a bit on the side of IP
@7jiujitsu so moving the needle with a group of people that aren't there paying for CLA and maybe unaware of its existence isn't enough for you? All or none, eh?
THANK YOU SO MUCH! That is very good stuff! putting all of priit postures and wrestling stuff together to help you stand up safely :) I love this and wish i was there. thanks rob
You're welcome 🔥
@@liquidrob6948 where do you train at/teach? will you be doing the main camp next year?
3:48 using standing up to reguard 5:23 top hand vs their top hand 23:10 turn head toward choking arm (smell the armpit)
Well this was some serious clickbate.
Excellent coaching!! Love to see your evolution from this to the Eco Camp, and I'm sure it has continued to evolve.
Thanks! This is more 1.0 now lol, ABA - Always Be Adapting 🔥
Such a great camp. Thank you for sharing❤

Nice
A lot of these subs are very low percentage.
My experience using them tells me different.
There’s always this guy
Excellent instructor
